[job_card.job_description]Perform sales and use tax filings and personal property tax filings across multiple states. Assist with payroll preparation, reporting, and accounts payable functions. Respond to customer and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Review and identify opportunities for automation and simplification in financial systems. Support system improvements by leading and participating in project initiatives. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and / or Finance. Demonstrate a solid understanding of GAAP and financial principles. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Show proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Have experience with Restaurant365 and prior work in the restaurant industry.
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including company-wide consolidation.
- Manage and supervise direct reports and third-party outsourcing partners.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and reviews of financial records.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
- Oversee bank reconciliations for both corporate and restaurant accounts.
