Art Handler II

To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries and installations of personal effects, art and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor. Coordinate installations and assist with crew on site.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• High school diploma / GED required.
• Two years of experience in moving and art handling industry; packing, handling and, furniture and antiquities on a local and interstate basis
• Two years of logistical, warehousing and moving experience
• Driver responsibilities up to 26-foot box trucks
• Comprehensive understanding of inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling furniture, art and antiquities.
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Some familiaritywith OSHA regulations
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Strong communicationand multitasking skills
• Fluency in both English & Spanish is a Plus
• Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting.
• Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable in a results-driven workplace

• Experience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, J-bars, dollies and other necessary standard logistics equipment
• Ability to safely lift50pounds and assist in the movement of objects of substantial size and weight without damage to objects or persons, including the ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and reach overhead.
