JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for the operation of daily performance of the Radiology Department. Individual proceeds on his / her own initiative, in compliance with policies, procedures and practices prescribed by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology; associate's degree preferred.

Licensure : 1. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Certification by A.R.R.T on Computer Tomography or registry eligible.

2. BLS Required

Skills : Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas. Must possess a positive and courteous attitude, and take the initative to go beyond what is expected in a teamwork environment.
