Position :   Pharmacy Liaison / Patient care coordinator

CHRISTUS Health HQ – Irving, TX

• 5101 N O'Connor Blvd, Irving, TX 75039
• 1 week onsite / 1 week remote

Hours : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (occasional after-hours flexibility required)

Training : 8 weeks onsite training

Start Date : 9 / 22

Interview Process : 2 round process

Compensation & Benefits :

Salary :   $52,000–$55,000 annually (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus : $2,000 (Irving)

Annual Bonus :  Up to 15% based on performance

PTO : 4 weeks (160 hours) + 10 paid holidays

Benefits :  Health, Dental & Vision insurance effective Day 1

Parking :  Free hospital parking

Work Environment : Business casual attire; hospital-based workstation

Position Summary :

As a Pharmacy Liaison (Patient Care Coordinator), you will serve as a vital link between patients, providers, and pharmacy services. This role focuses on patient outreach, medication refills, insurance coordination, and appeals, ensuring seamless communication and support across the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct refill calls and manage prescription workflows

Coordinate with insurance companies to obtain claims and run tests

Draft and submit appeals for denied claims

Perform patient outreach via phone and in-person interactions

Educate patients on pharmacy services and medication access

Collaborate with nurses, clinics, and physicians to ensure continuity of care

Utilize systems including EPIC, Willow, MS Office, Teams, and R systems

Maintain accurate documentation and follow compliance protocols

Requirements

State Pharmacy Technician License

National CPhT Certification (PTCB or NHA)

2+ years of exp as a Pharmacy Tech

Education : High school diploma or GED required

Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EPIC, Willow, and related systems

Background :  No IV or compounding required (experience acceptable but not active)
