Senior Accountant or Junior Controller

At WM, the Senior Accountant or Junior Controller is a senior level role accountable for full cycle accounting within a complex corporate environment. This position requires an experienced accounting professional with strong general ledger ownership and month end close expertise.

What You Will Do

• Own full cycle accounting activities including general ledger , journal entries , accruals , and month end close
• Prepare financial statements , perform variance analysis , and analyze complex financial data
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain effective internal controls
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders while operating independently in a fast-paced environment

The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $101,000 - $106,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.

This role is designated as Hybrid which will follow the WM Office Policy requiring in office work and an option to work remotely two days per week.
