Automotive Collision Repair Porter

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Automotive Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office, production area, and parking lots. Additionally, you will ensure that customer vehicles are prepped for repair, cleaned after repairs, and transported to sublet locations as needed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possess strong multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Perform daily cleaning duties in the office area, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and workspaces.

•

Maintain cleanliness in the production area by emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and properly storing tools and equipment.

•

Ensure parking lots and surrounding grounds are neat, orderly, and safe, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.

•

Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin to ensure they are clean and ready for work.

•

Conduct exterior and interior clean-up of customer vehicles after repairs are completed.

•

Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for additional repairs as required.

Required Skills, Abilities, and Physical Requirements:

•

Ability to perform physical tasks such as pulling/pushing, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

•

Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.

•

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

•

Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

•

Ability to operate a motor vehicle and work in an environment with moving mechanical parts, while withstanding exposure to such conditions.

•

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

•

Strong communication and teamwork abilities, collaborating effectively with all team members.

•

Must be trustworthy, reliable, and willing to learn new skills.

•

Must be willing to take safety and industry training to ensure compliance with all safety standards and industry best practices.

Education and Experience:

•

High School diploma or GED preferred.

•

Automotive experience is preferred, but not required.
