Production Supervisor, Cell Manufacturing

What to Expect

As a Production Supervisor, you will be playing a critical role Cell Development Production Team. You will lead a dynamic team of manufacturing techs while managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our manufacturing and operations teams, interfacing with Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow, to ensure production goals are being met.

What You'll Do

• Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high quality products against aggressive production targets
• Empower the production team to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability, trial execution and line productivity
• Develop training programs and hiring plans for assembly team members
• Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking
• Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process and support no defects from leaving a station or team area
• Develop & maintain Standardized Manufacturing Instructions used in production assembly by the assembly team members
• Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations

Expected Compensation

$80,000 - $144,000 / annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
