Job Summary :

The Department of Clinical Laboratories at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Lab Technologist III, Chemistry & Immunology. The successful candidate will :

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures and examinations and any other tests or procedures conducted by the Chemistry and Hematology Laboratories.
• Incumbent must have working knowledge of routine instrumentation and methodology used in Clinical Hematology and Chemistry. Specific familiarization with Blood Gases, Beckman Coulter & Abbott Analyzers preferred.
• Good knowledge of quality control, maintenance and troubleshooting on Chemistry and Hematology methodologies and instrumentation required.
• Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above description.
