Title : Senior DBA

Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite) - No Remote

Rate : $ / HR

This position requires high degree of initiative, professionalism, attention to both detail and quality. The candidate must be able to multitask, and work with others in a global support environment. They must have both strong interpersonal and communication skills.

In this key role, the candidate will be expected to :

• Provide daily support for high profile critical databases both on prem and cloud.
• Implement the technical procedures, standards and security for support of databases managed by IT.
• Help document the design, accessibility, and maintenance of database systems and processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain optimized databases for development, testing, and production.
• Implementing and maintain database solution including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Database Capacity Management.
• Daily tasks will include but are not limited to managing backups, database patching, performance tuning of SQL and general production support.
• They will be part of a global team that provides / database support.
• Must be available to work weekend and off-hours when needed

Required Skills and Experience :

• BS in Computer Sciences, MIS or equivalent degree
• year experience as an Oracle database administrator
• year experience writing and tuning SQL.
• year experiences configuring / managing Oracle RAC
• year experiences configuring / managing Data Guard
• year experience managing Oracles Rman backups and restores
• Experience working with high profile critical systems in a / global support group
• year of MS SQL Server experience
• year experience working in Azure, Google, or OCI cloud
• Strong understanding of Network concepts like TCP / IP, routing, load balancing, DNS
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to work independently and Self-motivated
• Progress database experience +
• Oracle Golden Gate experience +
