Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, delivering occupational therapy, and training patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards, initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, and a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
