Duration : 13-week contract (possible extension)

Shift : 58s | 9 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM | One call weekend per month

Pay Package

Taxable Wages : $1,000 weekly

Nontaxable Stipend : $1,470 weekly

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay (40 hours) : $2,470

Position Summary

A skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a contract assignment in Athens, GA. The role involves performing advanced IR procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and supporting workflow efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

Perform high-quality IR procedures according to protocol and in a timely manner

Apply AIDET communication standards for patient interaction and satisfaction

Prepare procedure area, position patients, and adjust equipment exposure settings

Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique

Ensure equipment cleanliness and functionality; report issues promptly

Assist with supply management and inventory tracking

Screen all individuals entering the IR suite according to approved policies

Complete accurate documentation including patient history, consent forms, shielding precautions, and imaging records

Maintain timely and accurate medical imaging records in the required systems

Requirements

Work Authorization : US Citizen or Green Card holder

Certification : ARRT License required

Experience : Minimum 1+ year Interventional Radiology experience

Shift : 58s, 9 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM; one call weekend per month
