EVS (Housekeeping) Educator

Salary Range: $21.00 - $29.45 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Position Overview:

The Environmental Services Technician Educator/Trainer acts as the subject matter expert in healthcare cleaning of patient rooms, procedural areas, exam rooms and hospital department specific cleaning techniques, tools and processes in accordance with CMHS quality standards, as well as local, state and federal regulations.

Required:

One (1) year previous healthcare EVS experience
• Must be able to speak, read and write documents in English
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Must understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS), pertaining to use and handling of chemicals
• Holds a Department of Transportation (DOT) Certification or obtains within 6 months

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in Healthcare EVS training
• Associate's Degree
