Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of accounting tasks while developing your skills in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational abilities and a passion for accuracy in financial processes.

Responsibilities :

• Input and maintain accurate financial records through data entry and system updates.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Handle invoice processing and billing tasks with attention to detail.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and statements as needed.
• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in financial documents.
• Maintain organized records of financial data for auditing purposes.
• Support the accounting department with administrative tasks and special projects. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts reconciliation, payable, and receivable.
• Proficiency in accounting software including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and billing procedures.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred.
