CNC Machinist / Operator - Everett, WA area - 2213

Our client in the Everett , WA area is a fast-growing contract manufacturer specializing in medical device implants and instruments who is looking for CNC Operators of various years of experience responsible for providing support for their Company.

Position purpose / core responsibilities :

The Operator will have exemplary manufacturing skills, working knowledge and experience on a variety of CNC machines and controls, and a dedication to being part of a world-class manufacturing team.

Main Duties :

• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and informs the lead person of discrepancies.
• Thoroughly inspects first part run
• Meets job standard times with minimal supervision
• Recognizes production problems and informs supervisor
• Understanding of basic machine language (G and M codes)
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using standard measuring tools
• Reads and interprets manufacturing / Engineering drawings
• Performs miscellaneous duties in the machine shop as directed
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of equipment and procedures
