Familiar with RIP software (Wasatch, Caldera, EFI Fiery) and file prep (PDF / TIFF / EPS). Mechanical aptitude; basic maintenance skills. Attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork. Ability to lift and stand for extended periods; safety-conscious.
Vutek Operator Position
We're seeking a detail-oriented Vutek Operator to set up, run, and maintain large-format Vutek printers. Must have strong color skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate wide-format Vutek printers; load media, inks, and curing systems.
- Prepare files, perform color management (ICC profiles, soft proofing).
- Start up, maintain, and clean printers per guidelines; monitor print quality.
- Troubleshoot issues; coordinate with service if needed.
- Manage media inventory and basic maintenance; ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with prepress / finishing / shipping to meet deadlines.
- Document job settings and quality checks for repeatability.
