The firm uses a research-driven approach to actively deploy capital across complex markets with an emphasis on risk-adjusted returns. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee compensation, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and other payroll-related tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the accounting team to ensure accurate journal entries related to payroll including labor costs, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions
- Assist in reconciling payroll expenses to the general ledger
- Process payroll on a semi-monthly and monthly basis for employees globally
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in system
- Assist with year-end payroll tasks including W-2 preparation and reconciliation while ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements
- Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll inquiries
