Payroll Analyst

About the Company :

Our client is a global alternative asset manager with over $30 billion in AUM specializing in credit, real estate, and multi-strategy investing. The firm uses a research-driven approach to actively deploy capital across complex markets with an emphasis on risk-adjusted returns. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee compensation, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and other payroll-related tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the accounting team to ensure accurate journal entries related to payroll including labor costs, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions
• Assist in reconciling payroll expenses to the general ledger
• Process payroll on a semi-monthly and monthly basis for employees globally
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws
• Maintain and update employee payroll records in system
• Assist with year-end payroll tasks including W-2 preparation and reconciliation while ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements
• Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll inquiries

Requirements :

Salary Range : 80,000-$90,000
