As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals you encounter. This armed position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic environment that values teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and / or disruptions.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities as required by site procedures.
  • Support law enforcement and / or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols related to armed patrol duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
