Contract : Shopify Developer

As a part-time contract  Shopify Developer , your role is to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of client-facing Shopify sites and assist in the upkeep of Launchpoint’s internal marketing site. You’ll work closely with our internal team and other contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, to spec, and with technical excellence.

We’re looking for someone who can :

• Jump in quickly and learn fast
• Communicate clearly and follow direction with precision
• Write clean, scalable code within Shopify’s ecosystem
• Troubleshoot efficiently and solve problems independently
• Deliver on tasks without hand-holding or excuses

This is not a training ground, it’s an opportunity to sharpen your skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute meaningfully to real-world projects. You’ll be expected to show up, ship work, and continuously improve.

What Success Looks Like

This is a contractor role, but expectations are high. You’ll be trusted with real deliverables and held accountable for results.

You must be able to :

If something is unclear or blocked, speak up early. Ask questions. Offer solutions. You’re expected to keep moving, not wait around.

You’ll own your timelines and task tracking. If you’re waiting on something (designs, assets, decisions), follow up — and keep following up.

Set realistic ETAs and stick to them. If something will cause a delay, call it out  before  it becomes a surprise.

Keep the team informed. Use Slack and ClickUp (or our tools) to tag the right people and add context to every update.
