BCForward is currently seeking for a highly motivated Database Engineer for a Remote opportunity

Position Title : Database Engineer

Location : Remote

Anticipated Start Date : 10 / 30 / 2025

Expected Duration : 5+ months

Job Type : Contract - Remote

Pay Range : $50 / hr - $60 / hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job

responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem,

etc.).

We are looking for a Data Engineer / Cloud Database Specialist with strong experience in designing and managing scalable OLTP systems and Azure cloud data technologies.

Key Responsibilities (Supplier Code of Conduct) :

• OLTP Systems - Experience in designing and supporting highly scalable OLTP architectures.
• Azure Cosmos DB - Data modeling, scaling, and performance optimization.
• Azure SQL - Strong expertise in relational database design, performance tuning, and security.
• Azure Data Factory - Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL / ELT processes, and data integration.
• Azure Databricks - Big data analytics, Spark-based processing, and collaborative development.
• Redis - Knowledge of in-memory data structures and high-throughput caching solutions.
