[job_card.job_description]Bachelors degree in Sports Management Business Administration or a related field or equivalent practical experience. 1-3 years of experience in operations event management or sports administration preferably within the youth sports industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required by event schedules. A genuine passion for youth sports and a commitment to providing exceptional experiences. Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective execution of 3STEP Sports events programs and facilities. This position works closely with the Director of Operations to manage day-to-day operational tasks ensuring high-quality experiences for all participants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a highly organized proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for sports and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning coordination and execution of various sports events tournaments and programs.
- Manage logistical details including venue setup equipment procurement inventory management and transportation.
- Support the recruitment training and supervision of event staff and volunteers.
- Coordinate with vendors suppliers and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Help develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and participant satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies during events and within facilities.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling reporting and budget tracking as directed.
- Serve as a point of contact for operational inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to post-event analysis and reporting identifying areas for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations department.
