Fund Analyst Position

A client in Nashville, TN is seeking a Fund Analyst to join their team. The Fund Administration Analyst plays a key role in supporting a specialized team focused on Private Alternatives, including private equity, private credit, and private debtwhich are more complex than traditional hedge funds. This role oversees activities related to pooled investment vehicles and ensures accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of fund-related data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and review NAV calculations performed by service providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare for month-end and quarter-end cycles while managing ongoing requests for valuation data, financial statements, and tax reporting.
• Support jurisdictional tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and resolve audit queries.
• Respond to internal and external requests across departments including Portfolio Management, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, and Investor Relations.
• Manage multiple tasks in a non-regimented, fast-paced environmentstrong multitasking and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Collaborate with business partners and contribute to process improvements, documentation, and training.
• Assist with special projects such as fund launches, liquidations, and data analysis.
• Work extensively in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, large data sets); familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Understand trial balance activities including income, expenses, fees, derivatives, currency impacts, and distributions.
