Paradigm Rehabilitation is seeking a highly enthusiastic and team-oriented Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Our primary goal is to make a difference in the lives of our patients. This Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position is in the post-acute / SNF setting.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
  • Obtain data related to the treatments provided and collaborate with the OT to modify care as necessary
  • Work with patients to optimize function, while being willing to learn new ideas & approaches to care
  • Thorough documentation that supports the progress note, timeliness and accuracy is ke
  • Educate patients & staff
  • Collaborate as an integral part of the care team
  • Understand how we partner with facilities, nursing & other staff for the benefit of the

    • patients

    The Requirements :

  • Must maintain a valid state license;
  • Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of Occupational Therapy.
  • Proficient in clinical documentation using Net Health / Optima or similar software
  • All healthcare workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption / submit to regular testing per the CDPH order.

    • Education :

  • Graduate of an ACOTE®-accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program

    • Your Certificates / Licenses :

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant CA state license
