Overview

You will be the first in-house attorney at Interface.ai, partnering directly with the CEO and leadership to shape legal strategy, streamline deal cycles, ensure regulatory readiness in the U.S. and India, and lay the foundation for future legal operations. You will own all commercial, employment, privacy and day-to-day corporate legal work while acting as the company’s single-threaded legal advisor.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate customer, vendor, reseller and data-processing agreements.
• Advise People Ops on hiring, terminations, equity grants and multi-state compliance.
• Build and run privacy / AI compliance program (GDPR, CCPA, FTC).
• Prepare board consents, maintain cap-table and support financings.
• Manage outside counsel on IP, litigation and insurance claims.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role will be between $225,000 to $250,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and / or professional certifications.
