SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintenance of ambulatory and departmental policies, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and evaluating evidence for best practice. Coordinates with multidisciplinary leadership, executive sponsors, policy owners and / or content experts throughout the institution for review and implementation of ambulatory policies. Coordinates and fosters the development of an evidence-based approach to clinical practice. Uses leadership, mentoring, education and role modeling skills to guide staff in translating evidence into practice to improve patient care and outcomes.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor’s Degree In related field and
3 years Experience in a healthcare setting and
May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements.
Must have current license, if applicable.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other clinical specialty and
Master’s Degree
Related experience in health care, academic, or publications environment strongly preferred.
