Job Title : Network Engineer III
Location : Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement : On-site (1 2 remote days available after completion of training)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. This is a hands-on role supporting advanced network provisioning and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work directly with live network equipment, perform complex configurations, and troubleshoot issues impacting critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Execute complex provisioning tasks on live network equipment using approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs), including activities that may result in temporary service interruptions
Perform circuit grooming, card swaps, and software upgrades
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently to minimize downtime
Configure, maintain, and support enterprise-level network infrastructure
Work with the following network equipment :
Juniper MX960
Cisco ASR 9000
Cisco ME3400
Qualifications
Previous experience working for an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network carrier
Minimum certification required :
CCNA or
JNCIA
