Overview
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
Location : Wichita, KS
Key Accountabilities :
- Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting.

Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or other related course of study from an ABET accredited programLevel 2 : 2-5 years of experience Level 3 : 5-10 years of experienceLevel 4 : greater than 10 years of experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range :
Level 2 : $76,250 - $116,900
Level 3 : $89,500 - $137,250
Level 4 : $115,750 - $177,500
