To  plan, organize, supervise, coordinate and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance of Community Hospital, Northwest Surgical Hospital and HPI Buildings. These functions are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utility systems and grounds of these facilities in an operative and safe working condition. In addition oversees operations of clinical engineering, dietary services and housekeeping departments. Maintains performance improvement activities within all of the departments and participates in CQI activities. Assures competency of all staff.   Assists in formulating department budgets. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all accrediting organization, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols
