A company is looking for an Accounting Specialist who will manage invoicing, cash receipts, and accounts payable tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Review cash receipts and resolve discrepancies related to client invoices
Generate invoices based on billing instructions from client-facing professionals
Assist with departmental clerical tasks and contribute to workflow improvements
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance department, preferably in a professional services environment
Working knowledge of electronic time and billing software
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with professional services billing operations and contract compliance preferred
