POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned, performs a variety of direct patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the patient.

Department : Geri Psych - Seton 7 West
Schedule : 32 Hours, Days / Evenings with every other weekend and holiday
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :
Key Responsibilities :
- Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly as well as accommodating a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, language barriers, and potential victims of abuse.
- Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, exceptional care and the hospital's values and mission into his / her performance of job duties.
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge & Skills :
Must possess a valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or show proof of enrollment in accredited nursing school and completion of the courses "Fundamentals of Nursing I & II."
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Compensation Range : $16.99- $25.24
