Pharmacist Tech

Job Summary:
The Pharmacist Tech at Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, California will be a crucial member of the healthcare team, responsible for supporting the pharmacists in the safe and efficient dispensing of medication to patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medication to patients accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and label medication orders
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medication
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure proper medication coverage
- Enter and maintain patient information and medication records in electronic systems
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to dispensing medication
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the pharmacy and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their caregivers
- Other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred
- Current Pharmacy Technician License in the state of California required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical records systems
