Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated Admissions RN to work with us in Pinellas county providing exceptional care on the following schedule: Tuesday-Friday 9a-7p.

What you'll Do:
Coordinates patient admissions activities in the long term care facility, patient home, hospital, assisted living facility and hospice house settings.
1. Educates patient, family and caregivers regarding disease process and decline, palliative interventions, care giving, dying process, ethical concerns and safety practices.
2. Provides initial assessment of the impact of the terminal diagnosis on the patient's physical, functional, psychosocial and environmental needs and activities of daily living.

What You'll Need: 1. Must possess a clear and current Florida Licensure as RN. BSN or MSN preferred.
2. Minimum one year experience in an acute-care Hospital / In-patient environment providing direct patient care; previous experience as a Hospice RN preferred.
