PVM is actively seeking a highly experienced and motivated Software Developer – Subject Matter Expert (SME) focused on Applications and DevOps to support development efforts within the government’s Cloud Development Environment (CDE). In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure DevOps pipelines, automation infrastructure, and containerized environments, helping to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) in classified and cloud-native environments. You’ll work across functional teams to enhance security, scalability, and maintainability, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and integration of security best practices.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable DevOps pipelines in cloud-hosted environments
• Support and optimize front-end pipeline operations and manage build agents
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Groovy, or similar scripting languages
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
• Integrate and maintain security tools (SAST, DAST, SBOM, etc.) in CI / CD pipelines
• Support IL6 pipeline development and classified work as needed
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless application development and deployment
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for provisioning and orchestration
• Implement and enforce secure coding and deployment practices in compliance with government regulations
