Security Officer - Media Site Patrol

As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will engage with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication, while utilizing technology to support daily operations. Pay Rate : $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas as required.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and / or visitors to address questions, provide directions, and offer assistance as needed.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to access control and visitor management, in a technology-driven environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
