Job Title : Construction Material Tester Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Material Tester, where you will conduct field testing of construction materials in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Your primary focus will be on soil and concrete testing, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil compaction and sampling tests.
• Perform concrete strength tests, including sample collection and on-site testing.
• Interact with general contractors and subcontractors on job sites.
• Use a nuclear density machine for soil compaction percentage testing.
• Follow construction specifications and guidelines for each project.

Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors on job sites, interacting with general contractors and subcontractors. You must remain vigilant as concrete trucks frequently move around the site. The dress code requires boots, jeans without holes, and a shirt with sleeves.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
