About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Sep 1, 2025. The role primarily involves day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, providing endoscopy coverage along with consults. This opportunity requires a specialist with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide endoscopy services.
  • Handle gastroenterology consults during assigned hours.
  • Maintain high standards of care in line with facility protocols.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient records using the Cerner EMR system.

  • Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Required certifications : ACLS, ERCP.
  • Active Michigan license and CSR are mandatory.
  • A clean background with minimal malpractice history is required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination and DEA verification will be confirmed.
