Contract : North Reading, Massachusetts, US

Salary Range : 17.00 - 19.00 | Per Hour

Job Title : Material Handler / Production Technician

Location : Westborough / North reading, MA

Duration : 9+ Months

Pay Range : $17 / hr to $19 / Hr

SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED

  • Electromechanical Assembly - Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assembly support or material handling tasks :
  • Moving, staging, or delivering materials and components to workstations.
  • Operating pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
  • Assisting with kitting, labeling, and organization of production parts.
  • Supporting inventory accuracy through proper documentation and scanning.
  • Performs other jobs related to assembly, repair, and rework as required.
  • Performs quality inspections and works with an understanding of what is critical to quality. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms / entries.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt of supplies.

    • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work all shift, including some overtime.
  • Ability to work with computers, manufacturing software, and perform data entry.
  • Ability to work in a mechanical setting with proficiency in using power tools and related equipment.
  • HM does have basic PPE : glasses, gloves, ESD Smocks.

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
  • Prior experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management systems
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation (work instructions, part drawings, or traveler paperwork)
  • Familiarity with safe material handling practices
