Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting functions including cost accounting, billing, accounts payable, and general ledger

Prepare financial reports, maintain project budgets, and assist with audits and special projects

Ensure accuracy of contract backlog reports and maintain vendor files and payment packages

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

At least six years of experience in corporate accounting, with three years in job cost / billing for a government contractor

Experience with FAR, CAS, DCAA, indirect rates, job cost, billing, and contract closeout

Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint Foundations and advanced Microsoft Excel functions

Experience with QuickBooks Online and data analytics tools is preferred
