Accessibility Tester

Description

We are seeking an Accessibility Tester to conduct thorough testing of assigned products and ensure all defects are promptly reported. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of testing protocols and defect tracking. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), as well as proficiency with assistive technologies and automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accessibility testing on assigned products and report all defects pertaining to WCAG violations
• Demonstrate testing proficiency and meet productivity and quality benchmarks
• Collaborate and communicate closely with key stakeholders in design, product management and product engineering to facilitate testing efforts throughout the product development lifecycle
• Collaborate with the Testing Lead to guarantee on-time completion, precision and alignment with expectations for all testing requests
• Participate in creating and maintaining process documentation in partnership with subject matter experts
• Suggest process improvement ideas and provide feedback on testing tools, applications, and processes
• Ensure that accessibility policy and guidelines are followed
