Description :

No RQI Certifications required.

Locals within 75 miles are not accepted.

COVID vaccination is required with religious and medical exemptions accepted, completed with an exemption form signed by a provider for medical.

Dialysis RN ratios are 1 : 2.

First-timers are accepted.

Weekend requirements are every other weekend.

On-call requirements include night and Sunday call for emergent dialysis.

Unit has 5 bays treating 5 patients per shift in the dialysis unit.

Generally, they run 3 shifts of patients per day, sometimes 4 shifts depending on patient census.

They treat about 13-15 patients in the unit per day and 2-4 bedside in addition to those treated in the unit.

Special procedures include hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Familiarity with Gambro equipment and water systems is needed.

Skills required include the ability to cannulate AV fistula and graft, administration of blood products, and management of anticoagulation.

Drug screens are required to be completed within 30 days of starting.

Any vacation time or schedule conflicts must be communicated prior to submittal.

RQI certifications are not accepted.
