Job Details

As an FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include :

1. Leading the development of our annual budget and strategic financial plan, in collaboration with senior leadership and department heads.

2. Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and forecast future financial results.

3. Utilizing PowerBI and Power Query to create data-driven financial models and reports.

4. Overseeing the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all departments.

5. Developing and maintaining reinsurance and claims modeling to support strategic decision-making.

6. Collaborating with the data analytics team to leverage data for financial planning and analysis.

7. Communicating financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, supporting them in making informed business decisions.

8. Driving continuous improvement in our financial planning and analysis processes and systems, ensuring they remain robust, efficient, and aligned with our business needs.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent FP&A Manager role will have :

1. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.

3. Proven experience in property and casualty insurance, reinsurance modeling, and claims modeling.

4. Strong proficiency in PowerBI and Power Query, with the ability to create sophisticated financial models and reports.

5. Solid experience in data analytics, with the ability to leverage data for financial planning and analysis.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive the financial planning and analysis process and influence strategic decision-making.

8. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

9. A proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
