Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform accounts receivable collection and claims reprocessing

Audit and resolve accounts with credit and outstanding balances

Respond to patient inquiries and assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in Health Information Management Systems (or related field) with 1+ years' experience in healthcare billing, or Coding Certification / Billing Certificate with 2 years' experience

In-depth knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Codes, Medicare and Medicaid billing rules

Understanding of insurance reimbursement methods and claims appeal processes

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
