Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Maintenance Helper at FDIC in Washington, DC. The regularly scheduled shift is 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99

Duties & Responsibilities :

Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations.

Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.

Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.

Performs maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems.

Assist Engineers.

Perform snow removal.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Must be able to work any shift assigned.

Must be able to work weekends.

Must be able to work overtime.

Must be able to work safely.

Must be a self-starter.

Must be willing to adhere to company policies.

Physical Demands :

• Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
