The City of Peoria’s Development and Engineering Department/Engineering Services Division has an excellent opportunity for an Temporary Engineering Inspector (fixed term benefited) that will serve as a liaison between the contractor, developer, utility company, and other City departments and staff. The position will perform journey level work in the inspection of the development projects, construction of a variety of City infrastructure projects and non-City owned utilities. This is accomplished by inspecting workmanship and materials used in a variety of projects, and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and departmental regulations.
