Physical Therapist Job Description :

Hamaspik of Kings County, Inc. is currently seeking per diem NYS Licensed Physical Therapists to provide Early Intervention services in home-based settings.

We serve all 5 NYC boroughs , and are currently looking for providers in Queens , and Nassau County (areas like Westbury, New Hyde Park, Dix Hills, Levittown, and East Meadow).

Physical Therapist Responsibilities include :

Working 1 : 1 with children diagnosed with developmental delays

Creating family centered treatment goals to facilitate carryover and maximum progress.

Monitoring & assessing intervention effectiveness utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach.

Maintaining appropriate documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication.

Educating families and caregivers about the therapeutic process.

Physical Therapist Qualifications :

Previous experience with children who have disabilities, in the Early Intervention

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Desire to improve the quality of life of children with special needs.

Bilingual a plus (Yiddish and Spanish)
