Pay : $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary : Join our dynamic team as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, where you will perform a variety of imaging procedures aligned with professional standards while embodying the organization's values and mission.
Responsibilities :
- Review patient history and physician's orders, managing scheduling effectively. Educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed, while monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes promptly.
- Prepare equipment and supplies, selecting optimal exposure factors. Implement safety standards and conduct quality control checks on equipment.
- Position patients for imaging procedures, assess image quality, and take appropriate actions to resolve any issues.
- Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to function with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements :
Minimum Required Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Required Licensure / Certification : Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). State licensure if required by law.
