Purpose of Position : To perform maintenance on aircraft engines, accessories, and components.

Essential Functions : (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).

• Performs maintenance duties on aircraft engines, accessories, and components in accordance with SAC Repair Station Manual, SAC Quality Manual, Customer SOP’s, and applicable technical data.
• Using AeroTrac ERP system and company internal paperwork, accurately document the completion of maintenance performed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Safe operation of the overhead crane
• Complete and maintain Forklift Certification in accordance with company standards
• Correct and safe use of specialty tools, torches, and chemicals as directed
• Perform FOD (Foreign Object Debris) inspections, and toolbox inspections daily
• Works to production schedule as directed by manager / lead
• Communicates with manager / lead to recommend changes, such as equipment utilization, production methods and procedures to increase the efficiency of the department and promote improvement
• Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy
• Observe and practice all safety procedures and personal policies
• Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner
• Maintains a clean workstation free from Foreign Object and / or Debris (FOD), ensures tooling is properly stored
• Maintains a clean / safe workspace free from spills or obstructions which may lead to harm
• Travels as required
• Confers with manager / lead to recommend changes such as : equipment utilization, production methods and procedures to increase the efficiency of the department and promote improvement
• Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner
• Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy
• Works overtime as needed
• Observes and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g. safety glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.)
• Other duties as required

Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Noise is generally loud.
