Job: Entry Level Civil Structural Engineer

We have an opportunity available in our Lenexa KS headquarters for an entry level structural engineer who is interested in building design. GBA offers the opportunity to work on a large variety of structures and building types from start to finish in a collaborative multi-disciplined team environment with room for career growth.

What Youll Do

• Perform structural calculations for building projects
• Prepare and/or direct others in preparing structural construction documents
• Manage all aspects of the structural design process
• Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers
• Review construction shop drawings and respond to contractor inquiries
• Opportunity for cross-training in structural bridge design if desired

What You Bring

• BS/MS in Architectural or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural design
• EIT certification
• 04 years of experience
• Proficiency in Revit (required)
• Experience with AutoCAD (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on fast-paced projects
• Previous internship experience is a plus
