Solid PowerShell skills and a genuine interest in expanding into automation frameworks and IaC. Knowledge of Hyper-V clustering and general datacenter operations. Experience with backup, recovery, DR, and monitoring tools. A security-first mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities. Curiosity, accountability, and a desire to modernize and improve systemsnot just maintain them.
We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to take ownership of core Microsoft infrastructure and help drive the organization toward greater automation and modernization. This role focuses on deep Windows engineering, virtualization, and PowerShell-driven automation.
Responsiblities
- Build and enhance automation using PowerShell and modern scripting practices.
- Manage and support on-prem Windows Server environments (2012R22022).
- Administer Hyper-V, clustering, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Support hybrid Active Directory (AD DS + Entra ID).
- Manage DNS, GPO, replication, trusts, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and related IAM components.
- Participate in DR / BCP planning and execution.
- Manage backup / recovery solutions (Veeam preferred).
- Work with monitoring tools to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
- Take full ownership of problemsdiagnose, resolve, and prevent recurrence.
