Locum Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatric

Join a dedicated team at a Family Birth Center located in the scenic Grass Valley, California. This facility offers a compassionate environment for both patients and healthcare professionals, with settings that include a Family Birth Center (L&D, Nursery), Emergency Department, and Inpatient services. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality care for newborns and pediatric patients, ensuring safety and support through partnerships with nurses, OB / Gyn, Anesthesiologists, ED Physicians, Hospitalists, and Tele-Intensivists.

Job Responsibilities :

• Round daily on newborns and provide coverage for any newborn delivery needs.
• Conduct ED consultations and admit patients from the ED to the inpatient setting.
• Perform neonatal resuscitations and assist with pediatric resuscitations in the ED.
• Engage in necessary procedures, including airway management and venous access.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
