ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Respond to work orders and perform general mechanical tasks, including electrical, plumbing, heating, appliance repairs, groundskeeping and snow and ice removals.
• Execute preventive maintenance and routine engineering checks in mechanical and boiler rooms.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Perform unit inspections in tandem with Resident Service Teams to ensure building / unit integrity, safety, and compliance.
• Maintain an inventory management system for all equipment and tools.
• Responsible for pest control inspection and follow-up treatment.
• Must be available to respond when assigned to evening, weekend, and holiday emergency coverage.
• Report any accident, injury, or safety concerns to the Director of Facilities / Executive Director (ED) and complete incident reports immediately
• May rotate as building mechanic to other 2Life buildings.

With another 210 apartments under construction and more in planning, we expect to add another 600-700 units within the next several years as we complete projects in active planning and construction phases.
